The Ambassador of Sri Lanka to Poland, Priyangika Dharmasena was the Guest of Honour at the “Miss Polski 2026” the grand final gala of the beauty pageant, held in the historical city of Nowy Sacz on 02 August 2026, broadcast live on Polsat, the leading television channel in Poland.

“Miss Polski” is the grand finale event in the aftermath of the promotional tour for the 24 contestants hosted by the Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau, from 07-17 June 2026 in Sri Lanka, which brought together the finalists of the beauty pageant with their production crew and organizers. The Bikini segment of the event was filmed in Sri Lanka, showcasing some of the remarkable tourism attractions, in the island, generating media coverage in Poland, and enhancing Sri Lanka’s reputation as an outstanding tourism destination.

Miss Polski pageant showcased segments including dance and musical performances, introduction of contestants and dress parades.

During the event a presentation on Sri Lanka was shown to the audience, capturing the   recent tour of the finalists in Sri Lanka, including the hospitality received, the exotic places visited, photo shoot of the contestants in swimwear, which was also simultaneously aired live on television.

The duly crowned Miss Polski, Wiktoria Ptak, who also earns the eligibility to represent Miss Supranational, received a cash prize from the organizers and two round air tickets from Sri Lanka for a ten-day visit with full hospitality, to the beautiful island.
